Ruoning Yin won the KPMG Women's PGA by one from Yuka Saso for her first major. Lilia Vu won the Chevron in a playoff with Angel Yin and the AIG Women's Open at Walton Heath in Surrey.
  • 2024: Nelly Korda's Chevron was her second major and her fifth LPGA win in a row. Amy Yang won the KPMG Women's PGA at Sahalee by three, Yuka Saso the U.S. Women's Open at Lancaster Country Club by three, for her second major in three years, and Ayaka Furue the Evian at 19 under with an eagle on the last hole. • 2025: Japan's Mao Saigo won the Chevron and Miyu Yamashita the AIG Women's Open. Sweden's Maja Stark won the U.S. Women's Open at Erin Hills at 7 under, two ahead of Korda and Rio Takeda, for her first major (from search summaries of Sky Sports and GolfMagic). Australians took the other two: Minjee Lee the KPMG Women's PGA and Grace Kim the Evian.

The 2026 majors

Chevron Championship, 23 to 26 April

The Chevron moved to Memorial Park in Houston in 2026. Nelly Korda shot 65, 65, 70, 70 to finish at 18 under, 270, five shots ahead of Ruoning Yin and Patty Tavatanakit (LPGA results). It was her third major, her second Chevron, and it returned her to world No. 1. The AIG Women's Open site called the margin the Chevron's largest in 18 years.

U.S. Women's Open, final round 7 June

At Riviera, Korda finished at 8 under, 276, one ahead of Charley Hull and Gaby Lopez, for her first U.S. Women's Open and fourth major. Search summaries of the reports say she took the lead with a birdie on the par-5 17th and became the first American to win back-to-back majors since Juli Inkster in 1999.

KPMG Women's PGA Championship, final round 28 June

Haeran Ryu of South Korea won at Hazeltine at 13 under, 275, two ahead of Ina Yoon, for her first major. She had opened with a 73 and sat tied 70th, ten shots back. The AIG Women's Open site called it the best comeback in the championship's history.

Amundi Evian Championship, final round 12 July

Ryu and Brooke Henderson finished level at 19 under after Henderson eagled the 72nd hole, and Ryu won on the first playoff hole (AP). Her third round was an 11-under 60. AP called it the lowest round ever in an LPGA major; the AIG Women's Open site went further and called it the first 60 in any major, men's or women's.

AIG Women's Open, final round 2 August

At Royal Lytham and St Annes, Japan's Shiho Kuwaki and Esther Henseleit tied at 5 under, 279, and Kuwaki won on the second hole of sudden death for her first major. She followed Yamashita as the second Japanese winner in a row. These details come from search summaries of several reports. Most give her age as 23; GolfMagic says 25.

The season-long LPGA race is a separate matter and was still running on 20 October 2026; see LPGA and LET. For the women's ranking, see world rankings.
